The Monthly Message
The monthly message is written by Mr. Chaet and can be found here or in the Sinai Temple Bulletin.October - News About SPFTY
Shalom SPFTYites,
So now that you have a month of school safely tucked away, I am sure you are very excited to see what SPFTY has planned for the month of October.
I am very excited to tell you that September was very successful. The month started of with a board meeting at Josh Fisher’s home. We had planned to swim and conduct our meeting outside, however the rains (some would say a flood) would not allow that option. We met indoors and planned a very ambitious year for all SPFTY members. These teens worked very diligently to provide a fun and exciting program for SPFTY. A HUGE THANK YOU to Josh, his parents, Marc and Shelley, and his brothers, Aaron and Zack, for being such gracious hosts and welcoming us in to their home.
A thank you to the Men of Sinai for inviting us to their family BBQ on Sept.21,which allowed us to put on a fund raising Bake Sale.
Our OCTOBER Schedule is as follows:
- Sunday, October 5, 5:00-7:00 p.m. - Ice Cream Social with a Pajama Party theme. All Teens Welcome!
- Thursday, October 9 - Yom Kippur Day SPFTY will be assisting in collecting of non-perishables for the Temple's food drive(call Josh Fisher to sign up)
